Olympia Area Rowing Presents Their Free Learn to Row Day! Find out what it is like to row in a sweep boat on gorgeous Budd Inlet and learn more about classes, junior programs, and other Olympia Area Rowing club offerings. Ages 14 or older; under 18 needs a parent to be present to sign a waiver. Saturday, June 2nd, registration at 8:45am. Swantown Marina at the OAR Boathouse, Olympia. Meet Rowing Stars at Learn to Row Day: Two local high school juniors, Walker Capra-Smith and Corban Nemeth, have made it to USRowing National Championships. They are among the top 19 varsity rower pairs in the nation! Come meet them at Olympia Area Rowing "Free Learn to Row Day." While there you can get in a boat and try it out. Three years ago this event is what got Walker Capra-Smith started.
