Pets and Halloween: Halloween can be spooky fun, but it can also be stressful for pets when masked trick-or-treaters come knocking at the door. Animal Services recommends keeping pets inside in a quiet area away from the front door on Halloween night. Keeping them safe also means stashing candy, especially chocolate, away from pets. Be mindful of pet dangers when decorating and check pet costumes for comfort and safety.
