Description
Join the Conversation: Your opinion makes a difference
Everyone is welcome to attend any of the seven Community Conversations, which will be held in each of the five counties TRL serves across its 7,000 square mile district. At these events people can:
Ask questions
Tell the Library which of its services you value the most
Discover library services and information you may be unaware of
And, most importantly, share your thoughts about programs or services the community needs that the library should consider delivering
Participants will be able to provide input and ideas on four major library-related topics, including services and programs, technology, collections, and facilities. Suggestions of additional topics by those participating will be welcomed and appreciated. Those unable to attend will have the opportunity to provide comments on the TRL website at www.TRL.org and on computers in all Timberland libraries.
Dates, times and locations of Community Conversations include:
Thursday, May 3 at 5 p.m. Chehalis Timberland Library
Wednesday, May 9 at 1:30 p.m. Salkum Timberland Library
Thursday, May 10 at 5 p.m. Shelton Timberland Library
Tuesday, May 15 at 5 p.m. Lacey Timberland Library
Thursday, May 17 at 5 p.m. Administrative Service Center (Tumwater)
Wednesday, May 30 at 5 p.m. Montesano Timberland Library
Thursday, May 31 at 4 p.m. Ilwaco Timberland Library
The responses TRL receives will help shape the future of library services in all communities the library district serves. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. For more information, visit www.TRL.org or call a TRL Central Reference librarian at 1-800-562-6022 or 704-4636 in the Olympia area
