American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Thurston County: This is your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember people we have lost, but also to raise funds and awareness to help save lives. Because of your support, we are creating a world where cancer can't claim another year of anyone's life. You are helping create a world with less cancer and more birthdays! Capital Medical Center, sponsors of Mixx 96.1's live broadcast to kick off the Relay Friday evening, invites you to check out the Survivors’ Lap Friday at 6pm, where those who have won the battle against cancer will be honored, or the touching Luminary Ceremony at midnight, where those who have lost the battle against cancer will be remembered.
