Crafts of the Past - Ft. Nisqually Visiting Artisan Program: Native American beadwork is a family tradition for Charles Larsen, who learned it from his grandmother when he was a child. Today he specializes in the beading methods of the Great Lakes, Eastern Woodlands, and Plains Metis people. Fort Nisqually Living History Museum visitors can try their hand at beading a Metis-style rosebud design with free, pre-made kits. Saturday, May 25th to Sunday, May 26th.
