THIS POSITION IS NO LONGER OPEN (Hired 6/12/14)! BILLING/ACCOUNTS/OFFICE! Mixx 96.1 KXXO in Olympia is looking for a part-time Billing and A/R coordinator and Office Manager. Are you organized and good with numbers, and people? This position is an intensive clerical position with a fun, interesting company. Workplace is informal.
The job requires extreme attention to detail, good data entry skills, and a basic understanding of billing and accounting procedures. You need the ability to interact with others but still maintain a routine and focus.
Work includes transferring information from written orders to computer database, tracking down missing information, generating logs & bills and reports, and following up on bills. Position also supervises small office staff. For full details see job description.
The work of the person in this position is critical to operation of the radio station and will involve working with many areas of station operation. If you enjoy complex problems, tracking down the answers and making everything fit together, this is the job for you!
CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS (8/2/13)! ADMINISTRATIVE ASST/DATA ENTRY: Are you smart, flexible, great at writing and data entry but able to do almost anything? We’re looking for a part-time utility player to fill several roles at the radio station. Primary duties would include entering names & email addresses and NUMBERS into a database with great accuracy, writing public service announcements, and occasionally substituting for our billing manager. Other work will include printing reports, copying, filing, mailing, occasional phone coverage, and other general clerical work. Additional hours could be added by working public events on occasional weekends, mainly Saturday mornings. Work schedule could be somewhat flexible, guaranteed 20 hrs./week minimum. Additional hours would be promotional duties mainly setting up booths and events, staffing a booth at events, or supporting announcers at remote broadcasts. $10/hr. starting wage.
Qualifications: Speed and accuracy at data entry, good writing and literacy skills, responsible, WA State Driver’s License, clean driving record, 18 years of age or older.
